Today was great day. We left Elizabeth City North Carolina and traveled about 86 miles south to Belhaven NC. The weather was dreary, wet and foggy when we started out this morning with some mildly rough seas and wind. We crossed the Abermarle Sound and then traveled through the scenic Pungo Canal. The sun came out when we entered the canal and it was a spectacular scenic cruise. Today we passed the 125 mile marker on the inter-coastal waterway. Tomorrow will be an early start headed for Beaufort .
